The short hair rule means students must cut their hair according to the school's regulations,namely short and natural with no artificial methods. The decades-old rule states that boys should have military-style cropped hair, and girls should have hair no longer than their earlobes.

This rule was first imposed more than 50 years ago, when Thailand was governed by the military. So it is very old and very out of date. Many millions of children are affected by this order. Is it time to change now? Please understand that young boys and girls also want to look good and modern. Adults have to open their minds to know that.

In fact, every society must have their own regulations to control their members orderly and peacefully. Although this short hair rule is too old, but it is still important to keep it, because school is a learning center, not a fashion center. It make the children clean and orderly. Even though the children think the short hair rule is ugly, but the real beauty must comes from inside, such as think good, do good, pay attention to their works and good manners not only the outside. The students have to pay more attention to their duties more than fashion,

However, the teachers and students should talk together and open their minds to understand each reasons and find the way to compromise.

As I am Thai student. In my opinion, i think the children should obey the adults,as the same time, the adults should listen the sound of the children minds too.
