Last Year, contagious diseases that mosquito is a carrier were dengue fever and Chikungunya. We were so arousing about these diseases because there was no exact way to cure and many people died from them.
To avoid the diseases, one easiest way is to not to let mosquito bite you. And other methods like destroying mosquito breed place. Using mosquito net is another interesting way!
In upcountry places, mosquito net is still being used in houses. Some mosquito net can kill mosquito because it was coated by liquid which is deadly to the mosquito. As good as it is, it’s not enough because that kind of net has short useful life. And it is unconfirmed that will it be dangerous to human if it’s being used for a long time.
But now, National Nanotechnology Center is creating Nanotechnology mosquito net that can protect human from mosquito and is not dangerous to human.
The Nanotechnology mosquito net is formed by mixed fiber made from herb like lemongrass and another chemical liquid that is not dangerous to human.
And there is a study for adding efficiency to the mosquito net to expand its useful lifetime to 2 years. It is expected that Nanotechnology mosquito net will be launched soon.
