Ice Cream Soda started selling when 1874 in Philadelphia, United States of America. Ice Cream Soda quick becamed very popular."Ice Cream Sunday" is changed the name to "Ice Cream Sundae".
Because of, the opposition about the drinking alcohol during 1880-1889. And soda water related to alcohol too. Many city in the Middlewest promulgate the laws which, prohibited the selling Ice Cream Soda on Sunday. The Ice Cream's owner started Ice Cream Soda minus the soda, but used ice cream and syrup for sold on Sunday. Ice Cream on Sunday is named "Ice Cream Sunday". .Later, the name is changed "Ice Cream Sundae" for avoid the opposition from the church. "Ice Cream Sundae" is creativity that succeed very much.Nowadays, "Ice Cream Sundae" is very popular more than "Ice Cream Soda" very much.
