Southern local play traditions  It's a convivial place of entertainment, focusing primarily on visitors. A troupe of show or provide entertainment. The local is its unique and purity of expression conditions of life. Southern local play traditions  it intended for fun and relaxation as weariness from work to play as shadow play  or Nora. Play traditions some place to celebrate or the opportunity to congratulate the people or social success in life. such as the swan dance Nora put shaving stick or a Sampeng for welcome visitor comfort. In addition, many of the game to a Buddhist altar or on the merit of charity such as playing music, Nak , A big snake in  fairy tale ,boat parade music and play something happens to sacrifice a demon. Such as Kaloo and Thoklum.

 

  

To the local group of the Southern local play traditions. Divided into 4 types as follows..

 

  

Group 1 is the southern province border. Including Narathiwat, Pattani and Yala Stool in some districts of Songkhla province area. The district will Jana Natwi Saeda o and some of the Songkhla  district in Muang , and Hat Yai. Local play traditions  such as   Mayong,Seela,Sumpeng,Lawgaa,Woyeyawo 

  

Group 2 is the local ,some of Nakhonsithammarat, Trang and Phatthalung.and some local in Songkhla province (The area around the lake ). Districts and is Ranot ,Stingpra, Ratpomi. Local play traditions  in group 2 this highly unique such as Shadow play,  Said music, Nora and a play traditions  range from Group 1 but have been building their new avatars as  Kaloo and Thoklum.

 

  

Group 3  is the provincial  west coast. Including Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi and Trang. Local play traditions  in group 3  has a special feature. Part be influenced by Chawele ,people who is coastal residents, and part is from Malaysia. Feature such of Longgeng (sing and dance) Forest Rmmana musical folk drama or musical folk drama.

 

  

Group 4 is  the provincial  Chumphon, Surat Thani and Ranong . This group of local play traditions  is including shadow play, Nora, and Said. Music. But this is also popular in the music high such as somgboat , song  Na. and play a special form, such as ShellNora  and KlonNora   etc..
