What is petrol ?

Before petrol can be used, it must be filter from  crude oil.

Crude oil is a liquid substance which consist of Hydrocarbon (easily evaporate),

Sulphur, Nitrogen, and Oxide’s compound.

It begins by the deposit of fossil which take ages.

With the preesure from stratum, the heat from under world, and  the breakdown of organic matter, so it makes those fossil become crude oil and natural gas.

In other words, we call “Petroleum” .

When we drill and get crude oil. The next step is filter process to make it be petrol.

But, the proportion of petrol after filter process will never equally.

Since, it depends on crude oil’s grade.

Moreover, it also depends on the efficiency of oil refinery.

Where is petrol came from?

Most of the crude oil resources cam from middle-east.

From information in 2008, 60% of world reserved petrol is came from moddle-east.

These countries can produce petrol 32% of world production each day.

But, they only need for 8% of world production.

How come some middle-east countries has not have petrol?

It because being-petrol process takes time and many condition.

For example, the area must have a perfect geology and some amount of fossil which deposit since prehistory; it also must have the perfect temperature and the pressure which decay fossil.

Therefore, the amount of petrol depends on the above condition.

Does Thailand have crude oil resources?

The answer is “yes” but, it is not enough for the needs in country.

Thailand can only produce 15% of total production used in the country.

The rest 85% cam from importing from abroad.
